Curly World Seminar is an international conference with an exclusive focus on the dog breed Curly Coated Retriever. The seminar brings together dedicated breed enthusiasts from around the world to exchange knowledge and experience, as well as to present new and up-to-date information on the breed’s health, genetics, conformation, working abilities, and long-term development.
In addition to the scientific and educational programme, the event includes a wide range of activities, such as dog shows, field trials, working tests, and other practical events, offering participants the opportunity for both professional development and active participation with their dogs.
During the Curly World Seminar 2022 in Sweden, Danish participants were asked whether Denmark could take on the role of host for the 8th Curly World Seminar in 2026. This question quickly led to action. After only a few phone calls, a steering group was formed, and Denmark was able to confirm that a dedicated group of volunteers was ready to take on the task.
Shortly after the steering group expanded as more volunteers stepped forward. In September 2022, the Committee for Hosting the Curly World Seminar 2026 was officially established under DRK – Curly Coated Retriever, and the Committee held its first meeting.
The committee and committee support members currently consists of:

The seminar takes place at First Camp Hasmark Strand Resort, North Funen, Denmark, from August 24 – 28, 2026. The venue offers cabins, camping, and beautiful seaside surroundings.
